TV advertisement

Realistic Narrative

The realism advert is where it suggest a situation which could be referred as real life. This is quite a effective advert because it show to the target audience of all ages and genders and that the game is a great way for family binding and friendly gathering which is their persuasive techniques within the advert to get people more intrigued about the game and be influenced to by the product.

anti realistic narrative
A anti realism advert presents something that might not be seen as a real life situation such as within this advert a panda randomly appears once someone says no to the product their selling within the advert and disturbs the worker by throwing his equipment and computer on the floor. I feel this is quite effective since it used a aggressive, imperative to the persuasive techniques so that the audience is being forced to buy this product.*

Animation

Animation is where they used animated objects  and features within the advert to produce a  appealing story or products which interacts with  the animation. This is shown within john lewis  christmas 2013 advert of a journey of a bear and a  rabbit to get to the tree and present the audience to  celebrate this global event by going to john lewis  which allowed the advertisement to be quite  effective since the use of music and storyline of  the animation was breath taking and appealed to all  age groups and genders.

Documentary advert
Documentary is when they include fact about the  product within the advert by also using celebrity endorsement with Samuel Jackson to narrate the advert but also promote the main product of sky broadband shield and promote the captain america the winter soldier movie which is used as persuasive. They used settings within the movie as a story to relate to a working area within the advert.

talking heads

Talking head is where the person narrating the  advert isn't just talking about the product and why  you should buy it as a persuasive technique but  also is looking to the camera to suggest that he's  talking to the audience to include a more personal feature to the advert and making the audience feel like the celebrity is asking as a individual to go see their new product. They also use celebrity endorsement to make the characteristics of the chosen celebrity to apply to the product and give that kind of feel to the audience.

Series

Series is a form which uses a family or a group of friends and other situations where the adverts are all linked together as a story so that the audience can feel more familiar with the characters and feel that they can relate to the situation such as the Argos advert they use real life situation within the house and solve the problem buy buying a product from the company they're promoting within the advert to have a positive atmosphere in the shop to suggest to the audience that they'll feel the same way if they enter Argos.
