tv advert evaluation

The fitness of the advert is quite clear due to me having soft drinks thrown at my face to present the flavour of the product and the only aspect of the advert which presents it being part of the skittles advert would be the ending where it suggest the details of the product by using voice overs and title. This could be improved even further through actually briefly present the product visually at the end but also making a more colourful and bright colour scheme within the display effect by the use of colour filters, which would make sure at the same time the lighting of the video would present the thought of the rainbow which would allow the audience to gradually display this advert within the skittle franchise.

Personally I feel that my main idea was quite simplified and creative by making sure that I wasn't making the audience just look at the advert and say that it described the product within the visual appearance of what the people were doing, but I had a more unique way of suggesting the emotion and feeling of if you buy my product you won't regret it and that if you buy this it will make you even happier and maybe even feel more unique and improve your character as a person.

I would think that this would be relevant to my target audience due to the use of appropriate colour and non aggressive or forceful techniques to make the audience. However I asked a person within the age group of my targeted audience which would improve my adverts to appeal to the group I'm aiming my advert at would be to change the use of music to a more popular and less annoying sound track. Even though, I only tried to use this track due to the music is quite memorable and catching and make the character of my advert quite humorous but also slightly imperative since it make he audience buy the product because they can't get the song out of their head which makes them think of the advert which is extremely effective.

The final outcome of my outcome is quite similar description compared to my planning stage due to beginning the advert with the dancer just standing in the center then randomly dancing towards the camera and then at the end stops and a freeze frame while being splashed with water within a close up angle. However, the sections I have changed so that my TV advert would work successfully by changing the thought of instead of just having one dancer I would have multiple dancers and fast pace beat cuts to suggest variety to the product, I also made sure that the dancer throws water at a random person with a freeze frame. I'm also going to change the variety of camera angles so that their different feature of one shot so that it wouldn't like a dull shot waiting for the dancer to get closer to the camera instead of fast pace cuts to the beat and make it interesting.

The technical and creative conventions I used was use a colourful lighting to present the rainbow within the filters I used within the clips to portray a more enthusiastic and bright environment. This would suggest about my product that if you buy it you'll have a more cheerful and colourful life in the future. The choice of using the technique cutting to the beat where I change the scenes in the advert each time the beat changes which make the advert fluent and more interesting instead of just presenting the clips within a random order. The use of sound effects such as in the end there was a water splash sound effect to emphasis the comedy to the shot which would achieve the brief of the style if was trying to portray within the advert of being a advert some some aspects of humor applied into the scenes. The music I combined and influenced the particular dance movements I made the dancers recreate was Taylor Swift- Shake it off due to even though it not that popular at the time the advert was being created, I used this particular sound track due to the catchy and memorable characteristics of the songs sound and lyrics so that people would remember the product through the personality of the song such as it's fun and unique lyrics and sound.

The persuasive technique I used such as unique selling point of this product is that it the product is part of a unique new flavour within the skittles franchise but also within the sweet industry which has no artificial flavour applied. This information would relieve the risk and danger of parents and children eating the product without thinking of the problems and dangers of buying my product the advert is promoting. This product would apply to the lifestyle of children who go out with there parents or friends and would like to suddenly buy a sweet for the day, parents or adults who have a sweet tooth and would like to snack on sweets such as my product within a event such as the cinema, gaming, watching TV or considering teens would be snacks for something like a social event like a party or a hang out. I targeted the emotional response of the audience as in a more joyful and desperate emotion to make sure they live life to the fullest and try to remove any negative thoughts through buying my product which would become a more imperative method to get more people to buy the product. The hidden message of this product would be to enjoy life and make sure you make the most of life and not afraid to try out new things and buy my new product within the skittle franchise. The advantages of this product to most of the similar flavoured sweets is the reputation already created within the skittles brand printed within the present industry which would create a lot of awareness within a short time, but also appeal a lot to popular stores such as supermarkets like Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's which would overall present the product as quite successful from the amount of popularity and awareness there is already including my advert.
