Glossary

Emotional Realism- music which buildup the scene in the characters thoughts and mind process.

synchronous- sound effects which could be seen produced in the scene
non-synchronous- sound which is produced outside and can't be seen within the clip

hyper real- sound which exaggerate and provides a impact to the audience to make it seem realistic

foley- sound which has been produced hand made sound effect

sound bridge- sound that connects two scene's together

funtional dialogue- spoken sound which describe whats happening in the scene by the characters communicating with each other

diegetic- music which is produced by a object within the scene.

non-digetic- music within the editing soundtrack

score- a composer who has produced all the soundtracks in the film

establishing sound- sound that describes the setting of the scene
